It’s almost that time year, the annual Special Olympics Shindig is almost upon us.
Formerly the Dance Marathon, this fun event is an annual fundraiser put on by the Regis Jesuit Special Olympics club to raise money for Special Olympics Colorado.
“The shindig is a great way to both raise money for a great cause and have a ton of fun,” says junior Luke Maxfield, member of the Special Olymics club.
It is a night packed with games, including spikeball, giant Jenga, cornhole, ping pong, as well as lip-sync battles and a Thru the Decades costume contest.
This fun filled event is taking place on March 3rd this year, from 5-9pm. Tickets are $15 and are on sale in the Steele Center during lunch, or you can buy them here.
