Regis Jesuit varsity baseball returns to districts to claim another playoff win which would advance them into the state tournament. The Raiders are up against the number one team in their region, Pine Creek. Regis Jesuit baseball has had many productive athletes such as Juniors: Johnny Stoughton, Geno Macias, Sam Doubet, and Caden Wagner. Each player posting well above a .300 batting average. Geno Macias currently sits on the season with 2 HR, 11 RBI, and and an impressive 28 hits. Close behind is Caden Wagner with 10 doubles, 2 triples, and sitting on 22 hits.
If the team wins the first round they will advance to the district finals against either number two Chatfield or number three ThunderRidge. The Raiders are looking good as they close in on these next two games with many of their stats sitting above the national average, according to MaxPreps. From the way the team has been performing it will be a very exciting postseason.
