Pumpin+Up+Regis

As the weather starts to cool down, the Poms and Cheerleading teams work harder than ever. They practice their routines. Making them perfect for their upcoming performances. The girls have come together and have already started becoming so close throughout the season. “I love the girls on the team and we are like a family” said Avery Round ‘19.

“People who do not know what Poms is, really underestimate us and put us down, until they see us perform” said Calais Osman ‘19. Every day the girls go out there and work their heart out. Doing the thing they love to do. Waiting for their chance to perform at state at the end of the season.

While Poms relies more on the dance aspect, cheer focuses more on things such as: tumbling and flyers. Cheer is one team made up of girls from all grades.

The input I get from my teammates and my coaches help me be the best athlete I can be,” said Lauren Winston ‘19. Both the Poms and Cheerleading teams have grown into a family throughout the season, they have come together in the practices and performances and have done the best they could possibly do.
