Regis Jesuit Girls Soccer defies the odds once again! After being the 29th seed starting this tournament and winning their first round game against the No. 4 seed Fruita Monument, many thought that the RJ triumph was a fluke brought on by a stroke of luck.
On Friday, May 11th, the RJHS girls soccer team beat the No. 13th seed, Legend, 1-0, proving once and for all that they will be a force to be reckoned with as they continue on to the quarterfinals!
In the second half of the second round game, Morgan Anderson ’20, scored, securing a 1-0 win over Legend.
The RJHS soccer team will continue their amazing journey tonight at 4:15 at Shea Stadium against the No. 5 seed, Mountain Vista. Be sure to support our girls as they strive to move on to the semifinals!
