We need fans back in our sports stadiums

It’s 2020, the year of chaos. With the effects of the novel coronavirus, most sports stadiums – professional and amateur were not allowed to have fans in the stands as they could spread COVID-19.

There should be more fans allowed back. It hurts the economy and gives the cable companies more power than they deserve. Without fans, teams have lost a large source of income especially those with newly renovated stadiums. During the 60 game Major League Baseball (MLB) season, The fans are the tenth man – or twelfth, in football – on the field, and it eliminates home-field advantage to not hear the cheers of supporters. Youth baseball players were also hurt, full seasons or not having a season at all

Instead of allowing sportswriters to attend, local fans should be allowed to watch in person – even if in small numbers. Sports are not for the elite, but the diehard fan. It’s not fair that people who sit and write small little articles about one player get to go and get waited on while we can’t show o love for our teams and players at these games.

Some say that it Cause more Covid-19more to go to these games but we have figured out how to safely open and board planes. We can do the same in outdoor stadiums, maintaining six feet, designing dismissal protocols, mandating masks, controlling concourse flow
