Abby Stevens is headed off to Auburn University this upcoming fall. She says “She is both nervous and excited to leave Regis Jesuit.” She will miss her dog, Hank, and her family, including her little sister Annabelle Stevens ’21, very much. Although she is very nervous to leave Regis, as she has gone here for four years, she is also very excited to start a new chapter of her life at Auburn University.
Abby is going to study fashion merchandising at her new school as she has always had an interest in this study. One of Abby’s favorite part of Regis Jesuit was definately the friendships she formed over the past four years and she will miss the people she came so close to during her time in high school. We wanted to know what it would be like to know you are going to leave home so soon. Abby told us the biggest change from living at home will be living in a dorm on campus.
We also wanted to know how she will commute when she leaves capes to get things like groceries . She informed us there is a bus system she can use and she also has a friend bringing her car so she can always car pool with her. Leaving Regis Jesuit will be a big change for Abby but she is excited to head to College.
