The girls varsity lacrosse team continues to keep up their winning streaking going into playoffs. The team has done impeccably well this season, and no one saw it coming. Players say that in the past it was all a one man show, but this year the team has played for the person next to them, and all their success has come from each other. Freshman Molly McCarthy said, “we’ve been working together as a unit during the season, and we continue to show our dedication during practice and games.”
This season the team has focused on ONE. Not one player and not being number one, but that it is ONE team and one unit. This team believes in themselves and in each other. ” During practice we all are working hard and focusing during the drills, but we still have fun and grow in our relationships with one another”, said freshman Regan Vandervelde. To this team their relationships with each other is what has helped them get this far and grow this much. They take it one game at a time, and no team is taken lightly.
