The Regis Jesuit Girls Swim and Dive team is ready to dive into the new season. After an extraordinary performance from both the boys and the girls teams last year, motivation for the upcoming season has never been more present. The freshman class is packed with promise and club team swimmers from all over the state who have come to join the renowned RJ Swim and Dive team. After the boys dominated the state championship last year, the bar has been set for the girls.
In projection, the girls should place rather high in consideration of last years performance at state, with Jada Surrell-Norwood and Parker Biley both leading them through the upcoming season. Let’s not forget about the Creek Swim and Dive Team who are in a sense rivals to RJ in most sports, if not all. But, healthy rivalry has always inspired RJ to excel in both academics and sports. Most of the Girls on the team have or are currently practicing with a year-round team to better themselves and to stay in shape, once high school season swings around. Along with the partnership of Landow Performance which is designed uniquely for each sport, but has been tailored especially different for the complex muscular build for swimmers. The physical and mental strength needed for this sport cannot be matched.
The Girls are hyped for the season to begin and even more excited to welcome the new freshman to the team to partake in the decades of tradition and dedication this team requires. Throughout the season, swim meets all across the state will take place all leading up to the huge State championship where all the high school teams of Colorado come to compete for the highly coveted title of State Champions. The energy that the girls radiate is not only present within the pool, but rather encompasses the entire school. The Girls Swim and Dive team is ready, are you?
