The Raiders Freshman Basketball Team kept their undefeated season going, when they defeated Overland on Tuesday the 5th. The Raiders were led by star player Benton Wolf, who had 20 points in this game. We talked with him after the game and the interview is posted above. We also met with the captains Carter Ferris and Anthony Lynett, who both had dominating performances. Carter had a high-powered offensive game putting up an impressive 13 points. Anthony was a very dominant big man in this game with 7 Reb and 4 Blk. The team played a very impressive game as they beat Overland very easily. The Raiders have had a very dominating season, but they are playing a very good Valor team next Tuesday, the 12th. Coach Butterly said that he is very proud of his team and his captains are great leaders. Carter Ferris gave a lot of credit to Coach Butterly when we asked him about how this team is playing so well. “All thanks to our great coaching.” The team has showed great strength this season and we would love for them to finish the season the way they started.
