Grace Shipp ‘14 & Nicole Bergstrom ‘14 

The Regis Jesuit Girls varsity field hockey team begins their season this Thursday with one of the biggest games they will have.  They will play rival Kent Denver at 4:15 at The Sun Devils Stadium.

The varsity Raiders will be traveling to Kent to play what is sure to be a nail biting game.  Last fall when the two teams faced off, Kent narrowly won with a score of 2-1. RJ has been practicing in the off season, particularly on their choked hits, pull backs, and defensive tactics, to prepare for their upcoming season.  The raiders hope to have many fans supporting them at their upcoming games.

With a goal of the state championship, the RJHS field hockey team will continue to work hard throughout the season in prep for their 15 games.
