On Sunday February 4th, Kylie Jenner announced the birth of her first child. Named Stormi, the child was born on February 1st. “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions, I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys, my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world,” Jenner announced on her Instagram account. She uploaded a youtube video documenting the past nine months of her pregnancy which had a total of 28 million views in the first 24 hours. Hear the reactions to the video from the sophomores at Regis Jesuit.
Analiese Abasi-Chavez: “I think it’s a really raw way to exploit her pregnancy and I think it is sweet that they put that tribute together. I also think her friends are super genuine and it’s cool how they kept it a secret for mental health reasons.”

Delaney Card: “Pregnancy is a beautiful thing no matter how old you are and I think Kylie handled it really well.”
Jalie Albrecht-Reed: “It’s pretty shocking and I don’t think she’s being a very good role model to get pregnant so young.”
Sydney Essler: “I was so shocked and couldn’t believe it. I loved the video.”
