The movie “Get Out” is arguably one of the most well done and most important movies of the last decade.
Jordan Peele’s first venture into the film world was something people weren’t expecting. Formerly 1/2 of the comedy duo “Key & Peele” moved away from comedy to direct this satire horror film. Overall, his venture worked out very well.
The subtle comments made in the film about race relations in America is amazing. He portrays an African American man meeting his white girlfriends family in New Hampshire. You see all the subtle racism by the family members and their friends.
In a word, the movie was amazing. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was filled with suspense and turns you would never, in a million years, see coming.
It is a movie that wouldn’t waste your time. Every young adult and adult in America should see this movie. It talks about the topics in America that we don’t want to talk about. If you haven’t seen the movie already, search your On-Demand and find a time to watch it.
