On Sunday, November 29, Dalvin Cook rushed for 61 yards against the Carolina Panthers to help carry the Minnesota Vikings to 5-6 record on the season.

Dalvin Cook is currently second in rushing yards through out the whole entire league with 1,130 yards, following Derrick Henry. Many people are saying Dalvin Cook is the best running back in the league right now. Fantasy Labs, a football analysis website covered some of Cook’s most impressive stats.

“It’s no surprise that Cook is No. 1 with 0.61 PPR and 0.55 STD points per snap, per Pro Football Focus”.

One simple injury can minimize a players season, but Dalvin Cook has not let injuries slow down his performance on the field. Star Tribune talked more about this on a blog post regarding Dalvin Cook.

“No NFL back has run for more yards through the first 10 weeks of the season than Cook’s 954, despite the fact he missed an Oct. 18 loss to the Falcons because of a groin injury”.

Due to Cook’s star performance this year many people are questioning if he’s in the conversation for the MVP award.Football analysis websites like The Viking Gage are buying in to the conversation.

“But in order to improve his MVP case even more, the Vikings running back also has to make sure he leads his team to the playoffs like Peterson and Tomlinson were able to due during their MVP campaigns”.

Many analysts are very impressed with his consistency through out this whole season.

“It’s hard to imagine Cook not winning this year’s MVP award if he continues to put up numbers at his current pace”.
