Boys Lacrosse Senior Night

Boys+Lacrosse+Senior+Night

The boys lacrosse team had their senior night on May 2nd. The game started at 6:30 and it quickly became dark out. It was one of the best nights weather wise that they’ve had this season.

They took on the Castle View Sabercats winning 15-7. All non-injured senior players were able to play. If you looked at the stadium you could see posters of the 16 boys moving on to college hung up. The seniors all wore a pink sock to signify that they were seniors.

The seniors were honored after the game. We learned where each boy was going, what they were majoring in and the favorite memories for their time playing lacrosse. Each boy’s name was called. They shook hands with all the coaches and ran through a tunnel made by their fellow teammates.

Although the night was mainly for the seniors, the moms were given necklaces and flowers with their sons’ numbers on them. The seniors were celebrated and acknowledged for all they did in the 4 years at Regis Jesuit.
