On may 13th of 2024 your 1st and 2nd semester aquatic sports classes went up against each other in an intense game of water polo. With the 2nd semester team getting the win with unbearable defensive the last 2 minutes of the game. Though 1st semester having an astounding 6+ d1 commits from many great schools they faced adversity in the pool. As because they were the 1st semester class and this event being at the end off the year this caused much downtime in the pool for the first semester class. Giving 2nd semester the chance to take advantage of this off time strategizing and preparing for this game. Robby a senior from the 2nd class says “this whole semester we were told we were the worse one”. This showing the rivalry these teams have and the true will to win and be the best class. The whole day the build up of teams talking trash to each other and saying many things like “how does it feel to lose and be the worst this school has seen”. After this amazing event we heard from coach Robbins saying “I love to be apart of this event and hope to keep it going as a RJ tradition”. Really showing us what this event brings to the school and the brotherhood shown at Regis jesuit. With our senior robby saying this is the best experience he has ever had at Regis Jesuit high school. All looking forward to next year and what is to come with the new classes and as the aquatic sports rivalry continues.
