This year the Regis Jesuit Cheer team has gotten plenty of new freshman and two new coaches. After last year making semi-finals for the first time in a new division with two new coaches, they decided to make it even better so this year they can make finals.
Unfortunately, one of the coaches from the 2024-2025 season could not come back for the 2025-2026 season. Luckily two new coaches have stepped in to help. The two new coaches, Jen Savarese and Carissa Collins, who have an amazing cheer background with other high schools and colleges, are so excited to be coaching the team this year. They also have there returning coach.
“I am super excited to be working with these girls so much talent, hardworking we are looking forward to having a super successful cheer season” said Coach Jen Savarese. The coaches are not the only ones excited about this new change, but the athletes are also so thrilled and excited to make improvements for the Regis Cheer program.
“I am excited for the new coaches and for what they are going to do for this program,” said Victoria Wyne. The coaches are not the only ones that are helping to improve the team but there are also many returners from last year and new freshmen that have already brought so much joy and improvement this year.
“I am excited because we have all the new freshman that are really good and talented and I am excited to see what they bring to the team, and I am excited to see how they will grow.” said Morgan Conner.
The Regis Jesuit Cheer program is filled with so many hardworking and joyful athletes that have amazing strong coaches to lead them. The team this year has already seen improvement and will continue to as the season progresses.
