Ben Brisso ’09 cheers as a rowdy at one of the varsity football games.

Alumni Ben Brisso from the graduating class of 2009 is in the real world now. Since graduating at Regis Jesuit he went to Colorado State University then graduated and went on to work at a data solutions company in Denver Colorado.

“Regis shaped me to be a better man, friend, and it sort of gave me a conscience,” said Ben Brisso.

While going to Regis Jesuit Ben felt like he had changed into the person he wanted to be and what changed hike was the retreats, his teachers, and the friends he made at Regis Jesuit.

” Retreats like Kairos opens your eyes to the things that are blatantly but these things you are ignorant of on a daily basis,” Brisso said.

Since leaving Regis Jesuit Ben Brisso feels that the brotherhood has changed since he has graduated.

” As you go through life you realize that there are certain people that you want to spend your time with and there are other people who you have fun but it’s ok to set those things aside and move on, to me it’s not really the brotherhood but the relationship I have with Regis,” Brisso said.

Ben Brisso still attends the sporting events like basketball games and football games, but he also talks with the teachers he had at Regis Jesuit. While at Regis Jesuit Ben Brisso was a rowdy and that was how he met some of his best friends.

” When we lost the state championship in soccer to East and to see some of my closest friends come of the fields crying and for me to be the first one there to talk to them and give them a hug, things like that show me how lucky I was too have this experience and how I felt like I was playing with the players on the field,” Brisso said.

Ben Brisso was a Raider Man and he was able to meet RJ who was a great basketball player who died in a car accident after graduating from Regis Jesuit.

” I didn’t know RJ that well but just being able to spend a day or two with him was totally worth it, ” Brisso said.

To foster a relationship with God, to foster a relationship with your fellow man, and diversity should be some of the goals of a Regis Jesuit student.

” To be a better person all around and to not just focus on one aspect of your personality should be one of the main goals of student at Regis,” Brisso said.

Regis Jesuit shapes your life a lot more than you would think.

“Regis is different that all other schools in Colorado and I’m so grateful for that and if Regis was any different than it is now I think my life would have been completely different, ” Brisso Said.

Regis Jesuit is something different and because it is different it is so special and it shapes the students to be better people.
