As the end of swim season is near, there is only one thing on a swimmer’s mind.

Championships.

The swimmers of Regis Jesuit swim team unite as one by going to shave parties and cheering everyone on during these championships.

There are three championships that take place from May 7 through May 21. Everyone from Regis Jesuit’s swim team goes to these meets to support their fellow raiders. The first championship is B-Leagues, a chance for those who normally may not swim year around, to experience the thrill of swimming fast and competing in a large meet. Next is A-League. A-League is for the swimmers who have not yet qualified for state. Many are competing to swim best times and some are competing to qualify for state. State is the last meet of the year. Regis Jesuit has won twenty-one state championships. State is full of excitement because anything can happen. Swimmers work all year to have a chance to compete at state.
Nick Norie, a Regis Jesuit swim team captain, said, “Nothing can compare to state.”

If you are interested in attending any of these championship meets, B-League is on Saturday, May 7, A-League is on Friday and Saturday, May 13-14, and State is on Friday and Saturday, May 20-21.
