“We only expected 230 kids to
join the class of 2018,” Paul
Muller, director of admissions
explained. Out of those 230 students expected, 260 decided to come to Regis Jesuit.
425 applications were received
by Regis Jesuit for the 2014-2015image
school year. Students came to
the school for a variety of reasons including athletics, academics, and the spirituality endeavor provided by Regis Jesuit.
“Cura personalis, care and concern for everybody,” Muller said. Every applicant is treated equally. Each incoming freshmen is judged on the same standards. There is no recipe for success to being accepted; each applicant receives equal consideration.
Recently, Regis has been doing statistical
research to help determine the right amount of students to ensure it continues to meet it’s rigorous standards.

With 260 freshmen students this year, Regis may
start to wonder if expansion is the next step.
“I have no desire for Regis Jesuit to become larger, or build more buildings; I would like to maintain the size,” Muller stated. The new performing arts center has relieved some pressure of maintaining the size of the classroom.
Each year, Regis Jesuit loses students
for a variety of reasons. “I hope that nobody
leaves come graduation time, but I do not control the universe,” Muller admitted, “I predict that there will be 240-250 kids in the 2018 class come time for graduation.”
