Stormy Days
by Maddie Merritt ’16
Painted rainbows in the air,
Life passes by without a care.
A little girl says her morning prayer,
Storm clouds gather above the daycare.
Summer rain falls,
Gently hitting the glass walls.
Children run out to play in the quickly forming puddles,
Before going inside to receive plenty of cuddles.
Squeezed together in a big woolen huddle,
Looking cuter than an old married couple.
