He pulls up and sinks a three putting Rock Canyon up by 1 with almost no ticks left on the clock. The players get ready for an inbound all knowing who the ball is going to, Rae town. Canyon thinks they’ve won it all as the squeaks of their shoes get back on defense the sweat draining from everyone’s hair. The inbounds goes and Rae shoots off the baseline as if his life depends on it. Every step he takes gaining more and more speed as he passes half court the clock ticks down to 2 he steps up to the top of the key and throws it up. The silence of the ball floating through the air sends bumps down the spines of everyone in the audience the ball bangs into the glass and into thew hoop. The bank is indeed open and the Red Sea goes absolutely wild as they stampede the field like a pack of wild buffalo. The gym booms with shouts and celebration. The Rock Canyon student section funnels out of the gym in despair and the team has never been more frustrated. The reds celebrate taking down number 1 Rock Canyon.
