Worker Wednesdays

Worker+Wednesdays

Waking up at four o’clock in the morning may not be a regular habit for many, but for Eliseo Esperaza it’s a daily routine. Besides waking up for school Eliseo wakes up for his shift at Adassa Concepts.

“I have to wake up early on the weekends around 4-6 to be able to get to our work location. If there are lots of buyers then I have to stay until late in the afternoon around 3pm,”Eliseo says,”It’s difficult waking up in the morning, but knowing that I can make people happy motivates me to get up and meet at my job site.”

Adassa Concepts is a small startup company devoted to making exquisite Sausages and Crepes. Advertising can make or break a company and for Adassa it’s been a struggle.

“It’s startup business and we’ve had problems getting out there. The advertising is very difficult. We are working on a website to get more business.”

Adassa concepts shines in the months of March through June but when fall comes around the business begins to decline.

“At times it’s boring because if we don’t get any business then we only get to clean the trailer, if the smoker comes out then people begin showing up and business starts booming. So mainly the barbeque side of the trailer is very enjoyable.”

Eliseo is a hard worker and he loves making people happy.
“I enjoy going to work and making people happy with my service, most times I think I’m not doing a good job but hearing the customers response really lightens up my day.”
