The Regis Jesuit Speech and Debate team recently joined the ranks of other schools nationally by joining the 100 Club, as coined by the National Speech and Debate Association. This club awards “outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills—including communication, research, listening, writing, and organization,” according to the NSDA.

 
The only way to become a part of the elite organization is to win 100 or more awards in the past calendar year, which is not an easy feat. The 100 Club puts Regis Jesuit in the top 10% of schools involved in speech and debate in the nation.

 
Congratulations the the Speech and Debate team and here’s to another 100 awards! The team finished the novice season with 36 awards and is preparing for the late season CHSAA competitive meets.
