Friday, May 2nd the Regis Jesuit community welcomes our wish kid Kash to campus. Kash has been through a very rough medical journey as he has been in and out of the hospital. He has had all kinds of surgeries and ended up needing a kidney transplant.
Kash’s family talked about his medical journey in front of the school, and was very grateful that we could provide Kash with this opportunity. The servant leadership class bought Kash a brand new Lamborghini because of his love for cars.
Kash enjoy’s dance parties, superheros, and bouncy castles, on top of many other things. He is well spoken for a young child and talked about how thankful he was to be able to come to Regis Jesuit.
“Thank you, big thank you, for doing this for me,” Kash said. He wasn’t able to come to Regis last year because he was to sick, so he really embraced this opportunity and loved the experience.
Throughout the day Kash spent his time talking to students and staff at Regis jesuit all day. The smile never left Kash’s face. Even though he is a young child going through a lot, he was the most joyful out of everyone.
Through out the week the Regis Jesuit Community came together for a total of three girls football games. Friday night was the championship between the seniors and the juniors. These flag football games were one of the many fundraisers for Kash. Selling hot dogs and chips were also another way that the Regis community could help donate to Kash’s wish.
Regis Jesuit senior boys also put on a show for Kash. Guy pom’s performed their dance routine and Kash was loving it while riding in his new car. Kash was very thankful and had a great time with a big thanks to make a wish and the Regis Jesuit community.
