There is a wave of support sweeping across our nation.

Recently, Walmart has launched the Greenlight a Vet campaign to raise national awareness of veterans and their honorable service to our country. People all over the U.S. are showing their support and appreciation by changing one visible light in their home to green.

You may be asking, why green? Green symbolizes the “hope, renewal, and well-being” that we wish upon all our brave men and women coming home from the military. Veterans often can’t be picked out from the crowd when they return home without their camouflage army-green uniforms shining a light on their brave choice of service; therefore, these courageous Americans aren’t receiving the gratitude they deserve.

Who would have known that a national campaign of love and support would start with a single green light?
