Jurassic Park (main theme), Rondeau, Jupiter, and Moon Dance.

All of these songs were performed by instrumental bands on Tuesday, April 26. Three bands, Jazz Band, Advanced Brass Ensemble, String Orchestra, and Concert Band all performed songs in the Z Theater.

“I think everyone sounded great,” said freshman Maxwell Andrus. Max is apart of Mr.Tim Sauer’s Jazz band that performed several classic songs that included Dirty Dozen and Evil Ways.

Each band that performed had a long trip before sounding and playing in harmony. Each class worked on their songs for at least one semester, not including time missed during service projects.

Finally, after hours and hours of practicing at home, in the classroom, and in the practice rooms, all the bands were ready to perform.

Matthew Christofferson, also a member of Mr.Tim Sauer’s Jazz band, gave a thumbs up to all of the music he heard last night.

If you missed the concert last night, feel free to attend the choral concert on Thursday, April 28.
