The world was shocked on September 15th to find that their beloved romance between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had ended.  After an eleven year relationship involving the adoption of six children and capped with a two year marriage, no one on the planet ever expected the love to fade between the celebrities.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Jolie announced yesterday that she and her ex-husband will continue to live together in the same house as a mother and adopted child.  “We put a lot of thought into our decision,” she said, “but I think we both agree that our relationship over all those years became a mother-son one.  We didn’t think that calling ourselves ‘married’ expressed how we felt about each other.”

When approached with this information, Pitt confirmed it.  “She’s always had a thing for adopting kids.  One night I mistakenly called her ‘Mommy’ and the name just stuck.”

The actor intends to have his name changed in the next month to Brad Pitt-Jolie-Pitt so he can properly fit in with his new siblings.  When asked about how the climate would change around the house, Pitt predicts, “We don’t expect to change our romantic interests in one another.  Just because she’s my mom doesn’t mean I’m any less attracted to her.”
