This week the Regis Jesuit Raiders (7-2) take on Rangeview Raider (4-5) Friday night for the First round. The Regis Raiders have the second seed in the “A Region,” and Columbine is the #1 seed in our region. The other #1 seeds in 5A are Cherry Creek, Grandview and Valor.

Last week, Regis Jesuit beat Fruita Monument 37-7 in a grueling game. Neither Quarterback for either team could really throw the ball so both teams heavily relied on their run games. Michael Pavlakovich had another big game running the ball.

Expect Rangeview do play like Fruita Monument in way of running almost every play up the middle, with a few boot legs every now and then. Watch for #11 AJ Thomas to get majority of the carries, and watch the matchup between him and our middle line backers.
