Fleece Navidad. A great idea in our community to raise money for Cadre, while also having some fun at the same time. Cadre has been collecting canned food to give to St Joseph’s food drive. “Fleece” Navidad is a great way to get students to give to the less fortunate.

St. Jospehs food drive is a non profit organization that uses the food and money people give them and use them on people who are less fortunate. Yearly they give about 2.5 million pounds of food to the homeless.

“It’s a good cause. It definitely helps people out, and encourages people to bring in food and donations for the less fortunate.” Says Rob Dean, a freshman here at Regis. “I think it improves morale over the school, because it shows that Regis cares about its community.”

Cadre has really done a great job with events to raise awareness to the homeless and also to support them, and this is another great example of it.
