A snowy morning seen from the Steele Center.

Winter Break. It’s nearly here.

Once students finish up with their finals they will be sent home for the rest of the month. A greatly needed rest from the daily grind Regis Jesuit students work through.

Many people travel with their families during their winter break.

“I’m going with my family to Breckinridge or Frisco,” Senior Hans Schulze said. “We plan to ski on Christmas Day.” The Schulze family has made a tradition of skiing on Christmas. He will be having fun and still spend time with his family.

For some people, they prefer to stay home by the fireplace drinking hot cocoa with their families.

“I really love staying home because I can spend time with my brother Brian, without having to travel back and forth over break.” Senior Marcus Staerkel said. “I also love the home made dinner my mom makes.”

Every family has its traditions, and not one is better than the other. Staerkel loves what his family does, and Schulze loves what his family does.

But in the end, spending time with their families is the best part.
