Life is a Dream
by Pedro Calderón de la Barca
“Life is a Dream” is a play written by Pedro Calderón de la Barca in 1635. Calderón is one of the first Jesuit educated poets and playwrights in the Spanish Golden Age. He attended the Jesuit College of Spain – Colegio Imperial. Calderon and Lope de Vega were the two main influences of the Spanish Golden Age with their beautiful plays and poetry.
