A healthful reminder. The swimming state championships are this weekend at the Air Force Academy.

This year there are twenty-eight athletes competing in the state championship swim meet, and there are seven new athletes that qualified last week during A-Leagues.

As state approaches, the swimmers are getting anxious and excited. Everyone is preparing to swim their best at the meet.

The predictions are in. Regis Jesuit is seeded eighth place. Shocked, this has added more determination to win the state meet.

Also, this Thursday, the state team will be shaving their heads. This has been a tradition since 1992 and most everyone participates. Shaved heads are more aerodynamic and helps the team swim fast. This not only improves time, but improves and unifies the Regis Jesuit swim team brotherhood.

Again, the state meet will be held this weekend at Air Force Academy.
